Artwork Approval:
You are emailed photorealistic renderings of the emblem from different angles. This way you can see what the emblem will look like before we start the tooling. The design can be tweaked if necessary at this stage.
Once you approve the artwork, we get started with tooling and production.
Tooling:
Tooling involves a combination of handcarving and computer work to create a master. A vulcanized rubber mold is made of the master, allowing the production of multiple waxes.
Casting:
The waxes are investment cast.
Hand Finish:
This leaves hand detailing and polishing. chrome and resin fill, to complete the final piece.

What are the alternatives, and why don't they work as well?
Alternatives range from using nothing, to a cnc billet aluminum badge.
Billet CNC Emblem in most cases has a flat design, with no dimension, and needs polishing.
A motorhead emblem is cast, giving a multitude of design options, can be done in many finishes, and chromed emblems never need polishing.
Do Nothing and people may think it looks like your style, and they may find out by word of mouth. But they may not.
Paint your name on it. That's not acceptable to all, not durable, can be painted over.
Decals look cheap, doesn't equal the quality of the vehicle, and chances are it will be removed.
